Script List <ASL>

A "script" is defined as a programme that has been written to globally change conditions attached to data within Concord. It is usually a method which avoids the necessity of having to individually change each record with the same information.

A script is not a report running feature. although reports may be run after the script has been run.

The function of the <ASL> screen allows the user to manage the list of scripts that may be run from time to time.

By clicking on a script to highlight, or by searching on the appropriate code, the following options are available.

  • View [F4], which shows the actual script programme.
  • Run [F10], which will run the report.
  • Delete.

Add [INS] will add a new script to the list, which will require the appropriate script to be retrieved from the directory in which it is stored, and OPEN.
