Adding a new Scheduled Task

The procedure for entering a new task to the "automatic programme schedule" is as follows:

  1. Add [INS]
  2. Action. Use the down arrow to select the task to be scheduled. The main tasks that can be chosen from:
  3. Option. Depending upon the Action selected, the following options must be selected:
  4. Start. Click on the down arrow to select the start date required. The time that the task is to be run can also be selected by using the [up/down arrow keys], or can be selected to run immediately, by clicking the "Now" icon.
  5. Overdue Limit. An amount in minutes can be entered, so that if the task is not able to be run at the prescribed time, then it can be run up to the overdue limit time. Select whether the task is required to be "Run Continuously" or "Once Only".
  6. OK or Cancel. Clicking the OK icon will add the task to the Scheduled Task List. Cancel will Delete.
