Create a New Count Transaction Header

1. Create a new Count Transaction Header (see Create a Header)
   

   Transaction headers are created by:-

   Hitting the Add [Ins] button which is located toward the bottom left of the screen

   or

   Pressing the Insert key on the keyboard.

   Note that some headers must be saved before transaction lines can be added.

2. Select the appropriate Stocktake Header to link the new count to (or edit an existing Count Transaction Header).

   Only Count Transactions with a 'Planned' Status may be edited.

3. You will be prompted to answer 'Load all Stocktake Lines Now?'

   If items with serial numbers are to be included in the count, you must load the stocklines to ensure the serial numbers are also loaded.

   Otherwise, you can choose to key in counts against pre-loaded items, or to key in all the lines manually.

Loading lines from the Stocktake Header simply pre-loads the Item Codes into the Count Transaction. This action has no effect on stock quantity or value; it simply populates the Count Transaction with Item Codes, Locations etc which would otherwise have to be keyed in manually.

When the Count Transaction is processed, only item lines that have a value in the count column will be processed and adjusted as necessary. All other lines are disregarded by Concord.
