When a new transaction is created, its status is automatically set to 'Planned'.
A planned transaction can be modified or cancelled at any time. It has no effect within the system until it is processed to become a confirmed transaction.

A planned transaction is temporary. There is no promise of supply or payment, so there is no demand on Inventory or Financial Activity associated with it.
