Editing or deleting an Item Issue

An Item Issue transaction may only be edited if it is in a "Planned" state (ie."Hold" was selected at the [F9] Process function), or a Confirmed but incomplete state. (ie. "Process but do not Complete immediately" was selected at the [F9] function).

The procedure for editing an Item Issue is as follows:

  1. View Issue. Type in the reference number of the issue, or, click on the ? button.This list of Item Issue transactions able to be edited will appear.
  2. Click to highlight on the line to be edited, then select View [F4] or Select [F3].
  3. Edit Confirmed Issue? - Yes. This question will appear if a confirmed but incompleted issue has been selected. At this stage a new Version will be created. (Refer to the section on "Versioning" for full details) Selection of a planned issue will not prompt this question.
  4. Edit [F2].
  5. Click on the details to be edited, and change accordingly.
  6. Process [F9], and select options as in the section "Entering an Item Issue".
  7. OK [F9].

To Process a Confirmed but incompleted transaction without editing any details, follow step 1. as above, click the Process [F9] button, select the appropriate option, then OK [F9].

To Process a Planned transaction without editing any details, follow step 1. as above, click the Process [F9] button and select the Process and Complete Immediately option, then OK [F9].

Deleting an Item Issue

A Planned transaction is the only transaction able to be deleted.

To delete a Planned Item Issue:

  1. Step 1, as above.
  2. Click to highlight on the line to be deleted.
  3. Process [F9].
  4. Select option 'Delete'.
  5. OK [F9].
