Item List <IL>

The Item List <IL> is a list of all stock items.

For the viewing function, the information viewed by the user can be changed by turning on or off column table headings as follows:

  • Right click on the table headings, select columns, then click on the appropriate heading to either add to or delete from the table headings.

Searching for an Item

To narrow the search field for an item, click on the down arrow key in the "Search by" box. The options to select from are: Code, Description, Alias, Sounds Like, Archived.

To narrow the search further, enter the item code in the "Search for Item" box.

If an Item Code has an exclamation mark ! next to it, this indicates that the item is INACTIVE or INVALID. The Item has therefore been set up incorrectly within Item Maintenance [IM] and is unable to be used until corrected.

To Re-Activate, or Edit any of the Item codes, the View [F4] button will enter the Item Maintenance <IM> function. (For full details, refer to the chapter on "Item Maintenance".).

However, the procedure for Editing Item Details is as follows:

  1. Click on to highlight the Item required.
  2. View [F4].
  3. Click on the "Details" header, situated above the Select box.
  4. Edit [F2]
  5. Edit details as necessary, following the guidelines set up the section "Item Maintenance - Editing an Existing Item"
  6. Save [F9]
  7. Close [Esc].
