The purpose of the Special Discount Maintenance <SDM> function is to record discounts given to an item, and can also be related to an item for a particular customer.
The Special Discount function also ranks discounts given in order of priority, and can be used instead of, or in conjunction with the Discount Matrix <DM> function, for the purpose of recording discounts.
